Here is a list of items that either sold for a record high or brought top dollar at a brick and mortar auction house. We have included the location, the year it sold, the estimated selling price, if one was provided, and the final selling price in U.S. dollars. They are listed by category.

Sale price was assumed to be the hammer price by us unless it was stated that buyer’s premium was included. Some prices might look like they include buyer’s premium because they are not even amounts of money but that is because we had to convert some of them into U.S. Dollars.
